Take a Ride Through History on the Halton Radial Railway

All aboard the GTA’s most historic and one-of-a-kind travelling museum! Experience history first-hand on the Halton Radial Railway, and enjoy a scenic ride through Milton on the city’s restored electric railcars. Transport yourself through time, and learn how streetcars have helped change the face of cities, societies, and (of course) transportation!

The HCRR was born in 1954, when a group of men came together to save the beloved TTC streetcar 1326 from being sent to the scrap yard. Upon it’s donation, the HCRR grew and began saving, preserving, and rescuing other streetcars just like it. Without restoration, these cars would be forgotten for all of the amazing contributions they’ve made.

Admission to the Halton Radial Railway gets you unlimited rides on beautifully restored streetcars and a trip to their famous ice cream shop; plus access to the grounds, display barns and the historic Rockwood Station! Their seasonal rides for Halloween and Christmas make the perfect backdrop for your family’s special moments, and have even been featured in movies such as Cinderella Man and Anne of Green Gables!

The Halton Radial Railway also offers special events throughout the year, like Wildflower Weekends, and is a great place to spend national holidays like Canada Day. You and your family will love getting lost in the story and scenes aboard this spectacular railway.

The HCRR is a place for family, friends, and fun! This enchanting attraction is the only electric railway museum in Ontario, making it a definite must-see for locals and tourists alike. Make the railway your new favourite family tradition, and visit today!
